Are the products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Indoor bait gel is placed in cracks and behind appliances. Outdoor granular baits are washed in with water and break down within hours of application. We'll talk through specifics before the first visit.

What do I do about fire ant stings?
Wash with soap and water, apply a cold compress, and elevate. Most stings produce a painful welt that resolves in days. Seek medical attention immediately for facial swelling, breathing difficulty, or hives — those indicate allergic reaction. Multiple stings in a child or elderly person warrant a call to a doctor either way.

Is it carpenter ants or termites I'm seeing?
Quick check: carpenter ants have bent antennae, narrow waist, and front wings longer than back wings. Termites have straight antennae, broad waist, and equal-length wings. Carpenter ants chew galleries in wood but don't eat it (you'll see piles of sawdust below). Termites do eat wood and leave mud tubes. If you're not sure, get the inspection.

Reduce moisture (fix leaks, redirect sprinklers off the foundation), seal entry points (especially where utilities penetrate the wall), eliminate food sources (covered containers, prompt cleanup), and stay on a maintenance treatment.
