About This Service

General Pest Control in Yuma County

General pest control is the foundation. It's the recurring exterior and interior treatment that keeps the everyday invaders out before they become an infestation.

In Yuma's climate, pest pressure never really stops. Monsoon season drives pests inside for moisture. Summer heat pushes them in for shade. Mild winters mean breeding never pauses. A maintenance program costs a fraction of an escalated treatment.

What's Included

Every Visit Covers

Why It Matters in Yuma

Built for the Local Climate

Yuma's heat and humidity swings create constant pest pressure. Block walls, stucco, tile roofs, and irrigated landscaping all create harborage and water sources that pests find irresistible.

Most Yuma homes do best on a monthly or bi-monthly maintenance program. The recurring visits intercept new populations before they establish, which is dramatically cheaper than fighting a full infestation in 110-degree heat.

Service FAQs

Questions Yuma Homeowners Ask

  • What pests does general pest control cover?

The common offenders: ants, spiders, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, silverfish, pill bugs, wasps (around eaves), and small invaders. Termites and bed bugs are separate programs because they require very different treatment approaches.

  • How often should I schedule service in Yuma?

Most homes do best on bi-monthly (every other month) or quarterly visits. Newer construction with desert landscaping often justifies monthly through the warmer half of the year. We'll walk your property and recommend a cadence based on what we see.

  • Are the treatments safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use EPA-registered products applied per label. Treated exterior surfaces are typically safe to re-enter within 30 minutes of application. We'll review specific products and re-entry times with you before the first visit.

  • Do you treat indoor and outdoor, or just outdoor?

Both, on the first visit. After that, most callbacks are exterior only unless you have active interior pressure. You're never charged extra for interior work between scheduled visits.

  • What happens if I see pests between visits?

Call us. If you're on a Desert Defense plan, the re-service is free. If you're on a single-visit standalone service, we honor a 30-day re-service guarantee on the treated area.

  • What's the difference between the first visit and recurring visits?

The first visit is heavier — full inspection, foundation perimeter, attic and crawlspace check, and interior treatment. Recurring visits maintain the perimeter and address anything new without redoing the full first-visit scope.
